This course provides current information about radiography of the pediatric patient. The course introduces the most common pediatric pathology and imaging considerations in a systems approach, which includes the following: special considerations in pediatric imaging, airway considerations, chest, heart, gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. The course includes a textbook (Fundamentals of Pediatric Radiology by Lane F. Donnelly, M.D) and a posttest with 120 multiple-choice questions. This course applies to radiologic technologists (RTs) and limited radiographers.
