This course provides current information about
orthopedic radiography. The course introduces
the most common orthopedic pathology and imaging
considerations in general and specifically about
the following: congenital and developmental disorders,
shoulder, forearm, hand and wrist, spine, hip
and pelvis, knee, lower leg, and the foot and
ankle.
The course includes a textbook (Orthopedic Secrets,
3rd Edition by David E. Brown, MD and Randall
D. Neumann, MD) and a posttest with 120 multiple-choice
questions. This course applies to radiologic technologists
(RTs) and limited radiographers.
