Course Description:
This course titled provides current information about CT of the body and includes information in the following categories: Basic Concepts, Chest CT, and Abdomen and Pelvis. Information is provided regarding the sensitivity of CT and radiation protection concepts, scanning protocols, and appropriate and inappropriate applications of CT screening. A supplement titled Radiation Protection in CT is also included with this course.
This course includes a textbook, supplement and a posttest with 120 multiple-choice questions. This course may be taken radiologic technologists (RTs) and limited radiographers and provides an excellent review of the fundamentals of computed tomography.
