Imaging Breast Masses in Children and Adolescents provides current information about imaging breast masses in children and adolescents. The course is arranged in parts for ease in reading and to allow time to complete related posttest questions. Specific parts of this course include breast anatomy and physiology, breast masses in children and adolescents: radiologic-pathologic correlation, BRCA1 and BRCA2 cancer risk, and genetic testing. Imaging modalities are discussed with indications and contraindications for imaging breast masses in children and adolescents. Radiation protection considerations in imaging children and adolescents are a necessary component of any imaging course and are included. The major parts of the course include:
