This course provides updated and expanded information concerning the availability of breast implants, potential risks, answers to the most frequently asked questions by consumers, reporting of serious problems, chronology of FDA activities related to breast implants, and breast implant resource groups. The imaging consideration section has been updated and expanded to include information about currently available imaging modalities. This course provides over 50% new information and as such has been awarded a new course approval number by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
