Our order forms are customized to ensure that
the courses meet certain state x-ray certification
requirements. For example, we have specific order
forms for radiographers who are certified/licensed
in Kentucky and Iowa. These states have specific laws
requiring that x-ray CE courses be reviewed and approved
by the state radiation control office. For individuals
certified in Kentucky or Iowa, we advise you to use
your specific state order form. For all others, the
"All State" order form should be used.
Texas and California also have specific CE guidelines
that must be followed for the CE credit to be used
for radiographer certification and licensure renewal.
If you have questions about a specific state, contact
your state's radiation operator certification or licensure
program.
For individuals who are certified in several states,
please review the individual course information to
determine it will be accepted by all states in which
you hold x-ray certification. If in doubt, contact
your states' radiation operator certification or licensure
programs.
We report completion of your CE credit to Florida,
Kentucky, and Iowa, as required by the state's radiation
operator certification regulations.
The ARRT and ASRT do not allow CE providers to report
completed credit.
You must report your CE credit by providing a copy
of your course certificate to the ARRT, ASRT, and/or
state agency.
The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
(ARDMS) and the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification
Board (NMTCB) are certifying agencies for ultrasound
and nuclear medicine technologists. Both agencies
accept CE credit that has been approved by ASRT. The
ARDMS and NMTCB suggest that technologists select
CE courses, which will be beneficial to the technologist.
Both agencies reserve the right to reject CE credit
for renewal purposes. If in doubt, or you have questions,
please contact the ARDMS or NMTCB.
