Mammography & Minorities (16 A CE) This course explores issues and concerns associated with mammography and minority populations. Digital Mammography: The Basics (8 A CE) The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to the basics of digital mammography. Technical aspects of recording, displaying and archiving a digital image are explained. Terminology related to digital mammography is presented and explained within the context of producing high quality breast images. Other topics presented include patient communication, breast positioning, and radiation protection in mammography and quality improvement in breast imaging.
